HOVETON HALL 5K SERIES

Come and join us at the Spectacular Hoveton Hall. We offer a unique opportunity to run at one of Norfolks premier Country Estates. The events will adhere to all Gov't Social Distancing guidelines and we will adapt our procedures to ensure we are fully up to date.  For more information click here.

The 5K looped course will take in all the very best scenic views on offer, panoramic views of the Hall, woodlands, beautiful gardens, grassy fields and sculpture trail and will include our very own social distancing medal to commemorate these strange times. Run on your own, with friends, family or running groups.

You will start in waves of a maximum of 5 runners, with 6 minutes between each wave. You will be required to book your wave start time when registering online. Runners are required to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the booked  start time.  All race information  will be sent by email. Your bib number and medal will be sent by post. Separate start and finish lines will ensure runners arriving at the start and runners who have just finished will not mix.

  • Download the RaceMap App to your phone - You only do this once and it's free

  • You will receive a confirmation email 1 week before the event which will contain

    • Your Bib Number

    • A RaceMap key for the App

  • Type the key into the search bar on the Race Map App.

    • The key will open the map and you can register to run with your name and bib number

  • Share the map with friends and family and they can follow you run

2. RACE DAY

  • Ensure your phone and/or Sports Tracker is fully charged

  • If you're using Live Tracking on your phone

    •  Open the RaceMap App, select your race

    •  Hit Start Live Tracking 15mins before the race starts

  • Live Tracking via phones can be affected by:

    •  Low signal, dense tree coverage or tight narrow course

    •  We advise using a sports tracker as well

  • Make sure the route is at least the event length and free of traffic

  • Complete your activity in the designated event completion time frame

  • Make sure you complete the event distance.

    •  No problem if you go further, we'll calculate your finish time

  • Take a Finisher's Photo to share with your fellow finishers

  • Use your phone and your time will automatically be on the Leader Board

  • Or submit your sport tracker data via the RaceMap Upload https://racemap.com/upload

  • Your confirmation email will have the Map Passcode or use the Tracking Key also in your confirmation email

  • Upload GPX, KML or TXC files.

  • Or send us a screenshot of your device and we will add your time

  • Final results will be listed on the results page of our website
